The room hub is a control and communication unit for a nurse
call room wih smart and/or passive units.
› The hub connects to the AQURA ward controller over the
ward bus.
› One room hub is required per nurse call room.
› The hub has a free topology room bus for connecting smart
room units:
– Up to 30 smart room units per room hub
– Up to 100 meter
› The hub has 4 contact inputs, 4 contact outputs and a buzzer
output for connecting passive room units:
– Up to x passive units per input/output contact
– Up to 100 meter per input/output contact
– The inputs and outputs have pre-defined functionality
(see “connections”)
› Fallback mechanism for room mode in case the room hub gets
isolated from the system. In fallback mode a reduced nurse
call functionality still works and gets indicated on the room
lamp and units connected to that room hub.
› Service mode for easy deployment and testing of buttons and
cabling.
› Service button and LED on the back. Magnetic sensor for
servicing without unmounting the unit.
› External 24VDC power
› The hub has an integrated 4 field lamp with 5 colors
– Red (first row)
– Green (second row)
– Yellow or white (third row)
– Blue or white (fourth row)
› Needs to be mounted on a mounting frame (not included).
